working until he gets me caught up on pay. Basically, he needs to call these companies that have owed us money for quite some time and let them know it's time to pay up. We get enough money to pay the basic bills, like the utilities, the rent, and the credit cards--but there's never enough to pay ME. So I've stopped answering my phone, and I've started to concentrate more on the fundraisers I'm resposible for.
The truck show that was scheduled for next week has been cancelled, I've been calling all the participants to let them know. We had a goal of 40 pre-registered vehicles, and we haven't met that. So I'm pulling the plug. My boss refused to help get the show promoted and put together, and I fought him on that for several months. Now, I've finally decided enough's enough. Ever since I made that decision, my stomach has been better, I've been resting a little more, and I've got a calmer mind.
This weekend is my big garage sale. I've been planning it for several months (okay, maybe YEARS.) And now I've got to get the stuff priced. I've got probably a thousand dollars worth of merchandise in the garage, piled up. A thousand in garage sale terms, anyway. DVD's, VHS tapes, clothing, furniture, toys, car parts, and dishes. TONS of dishes. And appliances. And part of my Coleman Cooler collection. Yeah, it's time to let some of the coolers go. Steve was shocked at that one. We even have a pinball machine and air hockey table. Stuff that we've been hanging on to, for no apparent reason.
Today I'll be printing signs, so I won't have to price each individual dish or piece of clothing. I'll use the little price stickers for the other stuff.

I'm scheduling too many things today, because I just realized I'm filming a show this
afternoon. It's the pilot for a tv show that we're trying to get picked up by some
network markets in the state. It's about activities and events in our area. Called "Walkabout" because the producer/video guy is Australian.
