Thanks once again to Facebook I've reconnected with someone from "Back in the Day," Fourth Grade. Tina. She's the one on the right, doing the hang loose thing with her hand. If you can see, the girl behind her is holding Tina's other hand down, probably because she was trying to do more than one hang loose thing and that's simply excessive.
This picture was taken as we were getting ready for a rare field trip outing, to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. The first zoo in the country, I believe, to create an underground tropical rain forest habitat. The other girls in the picture are Terrie, Tish, and Andrea. Don't keep in contact with them, with the exception of one phone call annually to Tish.
Turns out, Tina is two hours away in Vegas. Her whole dang family relocated there!
I'm anxious to hop in the car and get up there to catch up on old times, but it will have to wait for a couple of weeks.
