It's a place called American Truck Parts in Phoenix, it is a truck salvage yard. We bought two Peterbilt truck cabs from there this week. Don't ask why. I probably don't actually know the answer....

It Must Be Love

Steve took the trash out for me this week. I was shocked! This is usually my job.

But the person who would be more shocked than me was our trash collector. I pulled weeds out of the yard this past week and they were all stuffed into big garbage bags:

In Search of the Perfect Bridge Photo

Last night we went on a rescue mission of sorts. Steve's dad bought a boat, and it had "come loose" from its anchor line. Someone cut the line.
We grabbed the old Powertoon (that's Brandy's favorite ride) and headed out with some help to wrangle the big boat and get it anchored again.
It was actually a pleasant evening, so we enjoyed it with a bucket of chicken and some cold drinks!
And of course there were the obligatory photos....



Since my camera has finally come back from the warranty repair, I needed to try out all the settings to see which ones would be best for sunset light.



This one is the Bridgewater Channel after dark. Not easy to get a photo when the boat's moving!!



Then of course there's the Bridge. This is a panoramic, not as clear as I'd like it to be. STOP THE BOAT!!!!!!
