CSI, Havasu

I have to suspend my campaign momentarily to do a quick investigation.
You see, there was a dead body in the pool this morning.

(Insert CSI Miami music here)



I talked to Kitty Meow Meow. He maintains his innocence.



He says it was likely an unfortunate "accident."

I took a closer look at the body...



Hmmm... no signs of struggle. Doesn't seem to have any cat scratches or punctures.

My guess is, Kitty had something to do with this. But it's all circumstantial evidence.

Gonna have to put this one in the cold case file, and continue campaigning.

Arizona Sunset

The other day was such strangeness--the weather wasn't as hot as it usually is, and there was a not-so-hot breeze.
As we enjoyed a quiet evening at home after being outside all day, we noticed an orange glow out the back door. It was the sunset, and the colors were brilliant.

Brandy's Favorite Place

Brandy from Iowa saw a picture of Devil's Elbow, and she decided she HAD to see it in person. So when she visited in 2009 that's exactly where we went.

On our boating expedition yesterday, we visited Brandy's favorite spot on the Colorado River:



We also had lunch upriver, at the restaurant next to the train bridge. As we passed under the bridge a kid jumped from a rope into the river.


The birds were terribly interested in the onion rings we had on our plates:


Steve was well-prepared for a day out on the water. Hat? Check. Sunglasses? Check. Sunscreen? Check. Rolex? Check.
Wait, Rolex?



While he relaxed, I made him a heart:

David Cassidy was in Laughlin last night, and it actually was a really cool show. So loud, Steve had to move to the back of the auditorium.
